Seeing a need for the insatiable short-form content appetite, CV Studios created their patent-pending Enhanced Mobile Video Player (EMVP) where the Shorts Showcase Mobile App resides. Now viewers can watch short films from around the globe, get filmmaking tips, watch interviews with celebrities – and much more – right on their smartphones, iPads and Tablets.

Peace In the Streets Global Film Festival has put out a call for submissions. Produced by CV Studios Entertainment, the event’s partners include Voices of Youth, Foundation for Culture of Peace (Madrid), Clear Channel and MTVAct.com. The event is also supported by simplyME TV and Dish Network. Youths compete by submitting a one to three-minute short (video) on how they would make peace in the streets at www.psgff.com or #psgff. With three age categories, eight and under, 9 to 13, and 14 to 18, all ages can find their niche. Deadline for entry is May 31, 2014.

CV Studios in now in pre-production on a feature length documentary based on the 35-year history of the Playboy Jazz Festival and recently launched a global film festival for a United Nations NGO, continuing the company’s focus on branded projects.

CV Studios currently promotes Karly Smith, who is a 12-year-old chef who prepares healthy meals with celebrity chefs like Rachel Ray. She was recently selected by the American Heart Association to blog for their national Teaching Gardens program about cooking and eating healthy through the school year, which will launch on many different websites such as Everloop.com.
