While covering the GBK Gifting Suite for the American Music Awards at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. Chaka Khan talked to us about her two foundations.

Chaka has supported Autism in the past and now is helping kids and the troubled in New Orleans.

It is not over in New Orleans, as the country got hit with with one of the worst economic breakdowns of all time, New Orleans was not quite over the devastating blow it took from hurricane Katrina.

As a past resident of New Orleans myself, I have a special place in my heart for that wonderful city. Thank you Chaka for all you do. – JW
