In the past I have spent my Memorial weekend with Walk for Warriors in Los Angeles, CA to honor vets and their families. This year due to some health issues I can not make it, but I do want to let everyone know about it.
Also if you have a special place you go or some great cause or organization you believe needs support please mention them here!
I have found that most veterans do not know what is available out there and there actually is a fair amount of third party resources for vets in need.
