Gary has produced some of Hollywood’s biggest box-office hits, generating well over $1 Billion in worldwide revenue, receiving multiple Academy Award nominations, People’s Choice Awards, a Golden Globe & various other awards.

Gary serves as an advisor to Vidi.am, MyStudio.net & the online community Positively Positive. Gary also serves on the board of directors of Solidify Ventures, a story-based sales and marketing powerhouse.

Along the way, Gary practiced as an attorney in San Francisco, and later served as president of two divisions of IAM.com, an internet entertainment company successfully funded at $50MM. More recently, he served as Vice Chairman of The Elevision Network.

In keeping with the wisdom of a sage mentor, Gary’s doing what he loves, in the service of others who love what he does.

I met Gary while we were both washing our hands in the restroom of the Weston LAX in Los Angeles. I talk to everyone and am probably not the guy you want sitting next to you in a plane for a long trip.

Gary was very nice, but we were at a conference so we had just enough time to exchange cards. Gary asked what I did for a living and I told him that I worked in commercial real estate. Gary said “Oh we need to talk” and that was it.

I did do a follow up call and we decided to work on some things together. It was just around the time the markets went bust so we never got a deal off the ground, but Gary was a pleasure to work with. Gary was a recovering lawyer so he really understands contracts and business. He is one of the sharpest business and marketing minds I have ever met.

Gary always has new and fresh perspectives and solutions to the challenges I have asked him to advise me on and is he absolutely an invaluable help with this media project.

I didn’t find out about Gary and his famed Hollywood producing career until after we had got to know each other, a bit and even though Gary had produced over a billion in box office hits, he has never acted pompous or arrogant and is always willing to jump in and get his hands dirty.

Gary has been an advisor at one other company I was involved in and his advice and mentoring have meant the world to me.

Now Gary has become a good friend who I trust in business and in life. – JW
