James Carlini, MBA Executive Advisor experienced in multi-million dollar procurements, contract negotiations and expert witness in mission critical infrastructure. Pioneer of measuring building intelligence and high-tech real estate. (Intelligent Buildings)Author of “Measuring a Building’s IQ”, “Aiming for Quality in Technology Investments”, “Intelligent Business Campuses: Keys to Economic Development”, “Intelligent Infrastructure: Securing Regional Sustainability” among others.

Project management experience includes being Consultant to the Mayor’s Office for the preliminary and conceptual design of the City of Chicago’s 911 Center (which has been ranked #1 in the country by the Homeland Security Agency) as well as advising the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, O’Hare Int’l Airport (Infrastructure review and setting a strategic direction), Sanwa Bank, AT&T, SPRINT, JVC, GLOBEX, DuPage National Technology Park (an 800-acre development), DuPage Airport Authority, Motorola and other organizations with mission critical networks, call centers and large developments.

A certified Infrastructure Consultant (IC) who has reviewed network infrastructures and technology in over 39,000,000 square feet of commercial office buildings and specialized real estate including casinos and hospitals. This includes litigation support in multi-million dollar lawsuits regarding network infrastructure performance and system design including one in a major Las Vegas Casino.

Also reviewed major contracts as well as negotiated multi-million dollar procurements of equipment and services. Worked on marketing strategies for AT&T, Motorola, ALCATEL, JMB Realty and the DuPage National Tech. Park.

A keynote speaker at various international conferences and trade shows on Intelligent Infrastructure, Network and facilities security, Sarbanes-Oxley’s Impact on IT and various mission critical applications (911, stock exchanges).
